"I first heard Lili play at a songwriters night I was hosting when she was only 15 years old. I was blown away by her voice, guitar playing and songwriting. Lili Crane is incredibly hard working."
- Gareth Hudson, Hazy Cosmic Jive Studio
"She’s the genuine article and is on the path to great things. A very gifted songwriter and musician and only 17 years old!"
- Grant Walmsley, founder and songwriter of The Screaming Jets
Newcastle based singer/songwriter, Lili Crane has been playing guitar and writing songs since she was 9 years old.
In 2016 at the age of 15, she won the 'Rising Star' competition in Brisbane which gave her the life changing prize and opportunity of a musical journey to Nashville for unique recording and song writing sessions. This trip to Tennessee was an eye-opening and life changing experience for the then 15-year-old musician. It was a direct injection from the capital of American song writing and a taste of the big time, which has seen her passion and work ethic grow to incredible heights, so rare in any 18-year-old.
In November of 2018, Lili went in to record her first single with Gareth Hudson at Hazy Cosmic Jive Studio. The song, ‘Don’t Take My Mask Off’ was produced by Gareth Hudson, Grant Walmsley and herself. The debut single was released to the world on the 31st of March 2019.
Lili has since been recording new music with Gareth and is about to debut her very first EP titled, 'In My Head' on February 12th 2020.
The EP contains 6 self-written alternative rock/pop tracks which portray the stories of the last few years to date.
